Forty Years a Feminist: Bristol Festival of Ideas 18:00 – 21:00

Trainees register and pay separately for this event online. Event is hosted in central Bristol.

The Bristol Women’s Centre opened in September 1976 at 44 The Grove. Focus for many feminist campaigns, the centre offered pregnancy testing, and advice on legal issues, accommodation, contraception, domestic violence and rape. Forty Years a Feminist commemorates Bristol’s feminist activism with a panel discussion, the launch of Miriam David’s book Reclaiming Feminism, and a party to celebrate four decades of achievement.

 For those participating in the training school, the following financial support and administrative rules apply:  

  • The reimbursement rate per day is EUR 160 maximum

  • Up to EUR 300 may be allocated for the travel expenses (depends on Domestic, near countries, far countries)

  • A maximum grant of EUR 1 500 can be awarded to any one person

  • Grant for Trainees can vary depending on the country of the Trainees (e.g. Domestic, near countries, far countries)

  • Prior the Training School, the trainees must register on e-COST:

  • No advance payments are available: All costs will be reimbursed after the event
