Reason for joining: To form collaborative links with other researchers across Europe who have similar research interests. To engage in larger scale European collaborative research projects in this area. To develop my knowledge and expertise in the area of appearance dissatisfaction and its implications for psychosocial functioning.
Current research interest in relation to the COST Action: I am interested in stigmatizing attitudes in professionals towards individuals with appearance related mental health issues and the implications of such attitudes on helpseeking in youth.
