My research focuses on the use of technology-assisted interventions to help prevent the onset and progression of mental health disorders. I have developed models of population-based interventions for eating disorders, body image, and healthy weight regulation that allow delivery of individualized programs to all participants simultaneously within defined populations. My research focuses on developing and evaluating interventions that are effective, highly scalable, and dynamic allowing for rapid innovation and exnovation.
Reason for joining:
To foster research collaborations and facilitate widespread implementation and dissemination of evidence-based interventions for mental health promotion and prevention of eating disorders, body image concerns, and other mental health problems.
Current research interest in relation to the COST Action:
a) Eating disorder screening, prevention and intervention b) Establishment of regional prevention networks c) Development and evaluation of electronic and mobile technologies to support intervention delivery
