Degrees: Ph.D., M.Sc.
Current job title: Lecturer, junior researcher

Short autobiography:

My research focus is on gender identity and gender ideologies. For my PhD project I investigated the structure of gender identity and its links to aspects of psychological difficulties and well-being in late adolescence. Body objectification in relation to gender ideologies was among the main factors explored.

Reason for joining: I have joined the action in order to continue with my interest in body objectification and its correlates. I would like to work on development of reliable and valid instruments to measure body objectification and appearance dissatisfaction among adolescents and young adults. I would also like to find joint research opportunities and create partnerships for funding/grant applications.
Current research interest in relation to the COST Action: My current interest concerns dissatisfaction with appearance and body objectification in the context of gender ideologies. In particular, I focus on the links between body objectification and: a) adolescent gender ideologies, b) aspects of adolescent mental health, c) peer context.
